    where fdid you get it cause if it was new it has a one year worranty and they extened it to 3 years i got mine april 2007 and its jsut fine and if anything happens i can get it fixed as long as its before april 2010

    You can try to screw around with the A/V cables, sometimes that's why it does it, but most of the time it's a hardware F**k up not covered by Microsoft's "ring of death" warranty, since it doesn't have a 'ring'... Those stupid fuckers...

    I would still try and send the 360 back for service a lot of people send theirs in without the warranty sticker and it still gets serviced the worst thing that can happen is they send it back unfixed and your in the same boat. Also if that does happen there are some real good RROD repair kits now that will get er goin for another year or two for 15 bux.

    Both x360s failed in 3-6 months, the replacments MS sent have both lasted 6 months + now so they must have fixed the issue.
