  • My take is that ...

My take is that Eddie Murphy is not funny, naturally. He has to have a funny script. Dave Chappelle, conversely, just LOOKS funny. By that I mean, he can just look at the camera and I will laugh. He has strong ad lib and improv skills and is just on the cutting edge of the topics he picks to poke fun at.

  • No - he doesn't. ...

No - he doesn't. Dave def does get high and about half the time you see him on TV he is high but he isn't in this video. He doesn't bother to fix his eyes with drops or anything cause he doesn't have to. You might wanna actually get high before you make uneducated comments like that. And what's wrong with getting high? Do you not get high because our gov't tells you not to? That's retarded.

  • Dave Chappelle has ...

Dave Chappelle has also said that his first ever inspiration was bugs bunny which proves he is brilliant. He said Mel Blanc was a genius and if you look at his older stuff, you will see bugs bunny in there, no kidding, his style was so different then. BUGS BUNNY RULES!

All of these flippant comments directed at Chappelle or Murphy are undoubtedly coming from people who can not comprehend the genius required to be a great comedian.
Delirious was a master work of art.

  • I couldn't agree ...

I couldn't agree more. And he's a natural mimic and a great singer *as he mimics*! If most people only understood how hard that is, and how much talent it requires. And in my humble opinion, "The Cookout" from "EM: Delirious" is arguably one of the top five bits ever done by ANYONE. I was in physical pain from the laughter the first time I heard 23 years ago, and the S**t still holds up!
