This second video deals with my completed cell and install in my Ram truck. I got a little impatient and cut my own gaskets out of 40 mil shower pan liner, and with my luck the gaskets from fire in the water showed up this afternoon. I plan on running these first test with my cutouts and then I'll put in the thicker 1/16th" gaskets at a later date.

Working with this cell I've noticed a few things I haven't seen mentioned in anyone else's videos that are using this cell. First the cell is really efficient. When I first fired it up with my usual electrolyte mixture 3tsp NaOH in 1gal of distilled water; the cell went crazy and shot up to 120 amps (you should have seen the HHO, it had to be 9+ liters per minute. I could make the out-tube on my bubbler whistle with my finger). My wires heated up and I was forced to shut it down after about 5 minutes. I wish I had the wiring and a alternator big enough to run that load.

Since then I've flushed the cell and put a mix of ¾ tsp NaOH /gal distilled water and I am holding steady between 55 and 60 amps. I've measured output at 4 liters per minute (with a crude measuring device). With that being a good production number I have chosen to replace my lead wires. I have fabricated two feeds going from 4ga and reducing to 8ga feeders. I have also added a small pump to the return from my reservoir to increase cooling on the cell.

I think that the distance between my plates is too narrow and it is causing the cell to run hot and draw to many amps. I would appreciate some feed back from anyone running this cell, to verify my reasoning.

    To all my viewers,
I am closing the comments section for my older videos. I do not have the time necessary to keep revisiting work from weeks ago. If you read through the posts and notes on the videos your questions should be covered.

I will be responding to questions in reference to my current work.

Sorry if this poses and inconvenience.

  • You don't want that ...

You don't want that pump, it lasted a week and died. You need either a Shurflo or Flopump "diaphragm" pump with an output of 1gph or less. Look at the rest of my video's for the new Shurflo I'm using. I got it on eBay for $20. It took me two weeks of watching to get it at that price used. I've seen the one I have st Northern tool.

  • I have only made a ...

I have only made a couple of short runs with the cell producing. However I have a noticable power increase. As far as draining the system my truck has a very large battery (900cca) and a 150 amp alternator. With the cell and engine running the needle on my battery gauge only goes down a hair and has a long way to go before reaching a discharge level.

Have you notice a difference in the operation of the vehicles performance. when I run mine it seem to draw from the vehicles operating system. My battery and alternator are good. Have you driven your truck with the system installed yet? what was your increase?

  • I'm curious to see ...

I'm curious to see how this turns out, it looks like a nice cell design, and you can tell it's pumping out the gas. 60 amps is a LOT on our alternators though, especially once you figure in all the other electrical things running while we are driving, A/C, radio, & headlights, etc., burning all at the same time. Right now my cell is running around 25 amps fully warmed up, and produces around 2.2 Liters per minute, running around 130 degrees. Still a nice setup you got though..

  • Closer spacing on ...

Closer spacing on the plates definately requires less electrolyte concentration, or regulated amperage.
    Thanks! You are incredible!
By the way you can also wire for more neutral plates to cut back the amperage. Give that a try first.
