  • True, but the old ...

True, but the old CRX this was based from got up to like 50 mpg! Granted, I'm sure this car is a bit larger and safer, but still that was without the hybrid battery. I'd like to test drive one, though! I'm learning how to drive stick in the tC mentioned earlier so by the time this comes out I'll be ready. No doubt it will have a CVT or Auto transmission to appeal to most Americans who can't/don't drive stick. But if it were my money, I think the new Insight would be a better deal overall.

  • I think what Honda ...

I think what Honda is trying to do is make this car more sporty than economical, either way it'll be a big hit here in Los Angels with all the Hondaphiles, can't wait to get my hands on one and go for a test drive..... could you imagine a Turbo version with a cold air intake and milage as you say. NICE !!!

  • We will see. What ...

We will see. What bothers me is the MPG rumors I've seen about the car. 32-35 mpg ish? That seems terribly low, especially with the Civic getting better MPG on the highway and nearly decade old technology of the old Insight getting almost twice that. Let's hope it does a bit better.

  • The black you see ...

The black you see on the back end is dark tinted glass. So the driver will be able see whats behind him.
