  • Do US Parents ...

Do US Parents realize the PAIN these girls go through to be perfect gymnasts?
You work like a dog to ensure your children
    suffer after a GYMNASTIC-CAREER.
YOU ARE SICK, and this video PROVES what your child "WILL" go through to get "THERE".
Has anyone ever seen a Gymnast after the age of 40? after thier youth TRAINING-TORTURE?
PLEASE... Let KIDS be KIDS for Christs sake. Simply cruel!
Pedophilia always has an answer (guilty),
    but this so-called training.
I wonder where is the real damage done ?

  • This post is so ...

This post is so wildly immature. Culminating an entire gymnastics career into "she sucked" and actually trying to call it a fact? To whom--you?
She could, in fact, dance better than most of the US team, and had good from especially for a power gymnast, who are not known for form (Maloney, Strug, Dawes, Produnova, etc.). Watch some gymnastics and grow up.

  • She was a better ...

She was a better tumbler than ANY that we have now, save Shawn Johnson. She did tricks on floor with amplitude instead of crunching in the somis and twists. I'll take her on floor over twistie-wistie Liukin in a heartbeat.

  • She sucked. Sorry ...

She sucked. Sorry but facts are facts.

Besides her power her gymnastics was bad all the way especially form and technique.

If she never had a website losers like you would have seen her for the phony liar her and her mother were.

  • those are strong ...

those are strong and cruel words fredannyainge, she was a fablous gymnast and for someone who "sucked" as you put it she made it pretty far and was a top 10 gymnast her entire career, she crashed under pressure but that doesnt take away from how great she was when she hit, you need to be kind and appreciate what she did for the sport rather then trash her like a fool.

  • Her form sucked. ...

Her form sucked. Her basics were even worse and her execution was horrible. Even on floor she had bad form and she couldn't not dance.

Her form on vault was also really bad. Preflight, during. She had great height and distance, POWER but overall even her best events she sucked at.

  • I think she was ...

I think she was excellent at floor and vault; she is infamous for her bar falls and her faultering concentration. After watching some program that she was on recently I came to understand that she was extremely insecure and anxious during her career and is still working through alot of issues. I think her courage to admit that publicly makes her more admirable than many other athletes who tend to ignore their true feelings.
