Not shown: After Felicia's car breaks down in the parking lot of Mary's Place, she reluctantly agrees to allow Mitch to take a look at it (with Ada's blessing) and when he can't fix it, he drives her home. Upon entering her apartment, they find that is has been trashed and a dead rat is hanging from the ceiling. Reginald Love ("The Vulture") is suspected due to the fact that Felicia is writing a series of negative articles about him for Brava.

In these scenes, Mitch picks Felicia's locks in order to prove that she is still not safe in her apartment and insists that he, and his bucket of chicken, spend the night. When Rachel calls the next morning to check on her friend, Mitch answers Felicia's phone causing *Raschelle* to wonder why Mitch was in Felicia's apartment.

    Mitch, you rascal! Him sleeping on the couch is Felicia's "story," and "Hey, Rachel, did you know your best friend snores?" And then whistling "Strangers in the Night" when he got out of the shower...Where was this guy in 1989? Good stuff!
