Wget- Free Download Manager for Windows Linux and Mac

nevermind, i figured it out.

hey jimmy when i try to download a specific file, i get an error that says 401 Authorization Required. how do authorize myself so i can use the wget download manger to download the file?

how to you search for those?

you can allso use the torrent program such as utorrent and bitcomet. its the same but i think that you CANT downloade all the files at once so that program is really nice

I use this long thing for pictures wget.exe -nd -r -l 1 -N -A jpg -H --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20070725 Firefox/2.0.0.6" -P save -e robots=off

If you don't want to go into the command prompt to get into wget, you can use a batch file and put in the following:

cd C:wget (assuming you put wget here)
wget

I just use DownThemAll for Firefox.

did you know theres a new firefox extension called "downloadthemall", and its extremely fast and you can do everything you can do on wget, but faster i think. but good tutorial
