    Very Nice Nick, Great minds think... I finished my mill a couple of months ago. Seems to be a similar design to yours with similar "issues" I'm contemplating Rev.2 I have a video clip of mine milling a lapsteel guitar body in 5/4 oak at 20ipm and will post it soon. I have between $1500- $2000 tied up in mine and I did ALL of the machining and welding on it. Hobby CNC controller is working great so far.

    If you want to build one of these, join cnczone's forum. Thats all people do there and it is huge.
    I'm halfway through my router. To build a decent 2' x 4' workable area machine, your looking around $2000 and should have some machining or fabrication experience.
