You're forgiven. :) Maybe Brad's weiner is too short to detect the diaphragm, which is placed against the cervix. But more seriously, the goal is to have one's contraception not interfere with sex, whether one uses condoms, diaphragms or IUDs. If you can feel it, it's interfering.
