Late in the season, AEK play a critical match in Crete and need a win to keep pace with Panathinaikos for 2nd spot (and a shot at the Champions League). AEK go 0-2 up with goals from Ivic and Cesar before being pegged back to 2-2. The OFI fans sing loud because they believe they've killed AEK's season (and because OFI is the "farm club" of Panathinaikos). However who else but Nikos Lyberopoulos scores a cracker in injury time to keep AEK in the race. Final score OFI-AEK 2-3.
