    i used to play Top Gun Hornet's Nest, an FA-18 simulator. that was pretty good, but the wingmen had no concept of a hard deck and kept trying to guard my wing when i was preparing for takeoff, so they kept crashing into the ground.

    when you cross the "return line" with an F-14 or FA-18, you get a chance to land on a carrier

    not much though. you cant see the arrestor cables, and you can land on the carrier by approaching it from the front (not exactly a military simulator)
