    thanks, the bucket was cleaned out long ago so there was no trace of kilz left . and I cleaned the aerator real well (it comes apart).I will try the paint strainer next time.

    try a paint strainer instead of panty hose- the hose is made of mesh that is too small to let the good microbes out.

    run it for 24 hours and use it within 4 hours.

    and use a bucet that didn't have Killz in it!! lol..

    and yo'll need to clean that aerator after the tea goes thru it.
