Les Warner didn't die, he was sacked and kicked up a hell of a fuss over royalties AND he wasn't even the original drummer. That said, I liked the Cult in this era way better than any of their other incarnations.

No, he's right, I saw them live recently, and they were awful. Ian just talked through every song - weak. I prefer to remember them for what they were - wish I never saw them in 2007 - sucked.

Been listening to the Cult since the mid eighties,loved them ever since.I,ve seen live clips of them were they were terrible and clips were they were absolutely Dynamite!When a band is this f43kin talented I think we can forgive them of a few little sins here and there!Keep on Rockin Ian and the Boys!!!!

brewcity broker- I saw the Cult in Atlanta on November 4th, 2007- also saw them years ago for the Electric and Sonic Temple tours- The show I saw in Atlanta was incredible! Ian and Billy good as ever! If you get a chance- check them out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree too i love his playing, and actually some guys do cite him as an important influence billy and any of the thin lizzy guitar players are hugely under appreciated and under rated
