Dark and sexy Video. There is an underlining current of libido in its most seductive tone. A Filmnoir of an orgy that is the under belly of an obsessive Society with sever cases of addictive behaviors.

  • i bought this cd in ...

i bought this cd in college and was pretty into this band. there was nothing called goth and no conversation about it. one reason i liked this band 20 yrs ago is it was different. 20 years later people are trying to label it with terms like goth that didnt really come to be until sisters was done making music. silly. this music is still good

  • i agree, the music ...

i agree, the music is pretty banal and something a mainstream heavy rock-head could enjoy, but the lyrics are not as easily digested and that's what makes their songs fascinating. However, other Andrew Eldritch work isn't so banal..The SIsterhood-gift is far more experimental and more enjoyable. Had it not been for their more banal stuff they wouldn't have crossed the pond and would never have heard of The Sisterhood.

Too bad the medias imprisoned them within the goth square for ever.
Really, one "man"'s (nah he's not even human) life ripped apart by dim journalists.
But hey ! What about a new album ?

  • that's the weird ...

that's the weird thing about it. it's so catchy and pleasurable to my ear, yet when i actually take the time to look at song structure and lyrics, it really IS repetition to the max, with some wacky lyrics thrown in. but, again, it just sounds so good. weird =\
