If you read Takeshi Kaneshiro's profile, he's going to play as Samanosuke in the Onimusha movie that is coming out in 2011. About 2 years from now.

Yeah it's pretty hard to find the resemblance... I found the answer on the internet. Once you know about Tenkai being samanosuke, you start seeing it. His aging just really changed so much. He did change, so much that you forget about the original Samanosuke. :o

Tenkai is Samanosuke.
And the girl with him is Ako.
You can tell from many his red armor, for example.
And at the end Jubei's monologues also give some hints about that.

I agree. When I first saw Tenkai, I thought he was a disciple of Samanosuke. And when I fought him in the game, Samanosuke's theme played. That made me think he was a student or follower of Samanosuke. He neitehr sounded or looked like him.

Tenkai in Dawn of Dreams doesnt look like Takeshi Kaneshiro at all. even though he aged greatly, there should have been a slight resemblance. And the way he talks is a bit cool and well reserved compared to the past where he is a bit timid and will only talk when necessary plus he has a grungy voice back then.

Yea i played Blade Warriors I didnt really like it dat much cuz fo me it got repititive really quick an there was a lot of characters to unlock so i gotsz mad irritated an stopped playin it

ayo Onimusha is one of da best Series i have ever played Onimusha Warlords was da first game i ever finished wen i was a lil kid Tenkai was hoping dat this would be his last adventure and the Genma would go away but i knew dat as long as da Gauntlet stays with Samanosuke he cant die an dat means da Genma would still be out dere so in a way dey actually set the game to be ended by Samanosuke when Soki said dat to him He was spazing out wen Samanosuke was actually considering it LOL

you shold play onimusha blade warriors kaedes tale in it is interesting she stars a journey to look after samanosuke cause she didnt know if fortinbras killed him or not it was very dramatical when i saw the cutscene when she fnds him and also in blade warriors you wil find out that the big fighter with the spear named kojiro is actually yumemaru the little kid in onimusha warlords

guess yor a onimusha fan just like me in dawn of dreams every little line in talk i have it in mind hihi so i know about all of that its funny when soki tells tenkai what are you gonna do after all this and then tenkai says well my work will be finished then soki says dont tell me your gonna jump of a cliff or something its funny that soki actually is taking tenkai/samanosuke so lightly it made me laugh haha
