Aida Riyad is a former member of the Egyptian National Folk Troupe. She was one of the first dancers to be cast in "El Menbouteya" folkloric number. She went later on to become a famous artist and actress in the Arab entertainment field. Another actress who also became famous after performing the same dance peice is Mushira Ismail. Aida and Mushira danced together in the National Troupe.
