Some facts about our armed forces: nearly 450.000 men in Army/Police.
Bigger helicopter fleet after USA in America. nearly 190 machines.
USA contribution is nearly US$800-1000 million anually, but most of those money can't be used against FARC, just against Drug War. Sounds a lot of money? read this:
Colombia's anual defense budget is 6.5%GNP...that means we spent US$11.5 Billion (US$11.500 million).
We use equipment from USA, Israel and Rusia.

yeah its mostly american, but well, most of it , they had to develop theyr own combat helo after U.S congress (mostly democrat) refused to sell supercobras to columbia , cuz they would use them to attack terorist groups such as farc (remember that democrats still see farc as labor union raised in arms)anyhow, the columbians had earned theyr place as one of he most experienced armies in the world, prove of that is that they keep their socialist neightborns at bay......greetings from israel
