a z06 is faster than the gtr.
do some research before u talk S**t please.
the only thing the gtr is better than the corvette in is the skidpad and braking.
but gets owned in 0-60,quarter mile, and track times.

vettes and mustangs sound as cool as a chevy 2500 with a pacesetter.

NSX r gorgeous but vettes will always be my favs. A jap car will never sounds as nice as an american car sounds when you add cam. NEVER...........maybe... in 50 more yrs.... plus a jap car cant take the beating I give my vettes and my stangs NO WAY....... I see jap car been pulled over at the track after the 3rd run to cool off while I run my vette on boost as long as I want.

The New GTR is already been compared with the z06 and the Carrera 911 turbo but critics don't even bother comparing the GTR with the new ZR-1 because it stands no chance.

Agreed. But they are not all 17 years old. They made them until what, 2005, 2006? By that logic, you could say the Z06 and ZR1 are 11 years old because the chassis and engine design is the same as the '97 vette.

Well, the ZR1 will likely be lighter and certainly will be more powerful. But I agree that it is impossible to say right now. It's why bringing up future cars is quite useless.

I don't believe that it will be thoroughly beaten by the zr1, with nissan throwing out the v spec gt r and toyota with the LF A, honda will step up with something worthy. When the NSX was launched it did what the gt -r is doign now. right now the Z06>NSX, obviously, but for a 17 year old car, the nsx is a damn good car.

This is true for unbaised people. It's not hard to appreciate a car that is so obviously and undeniably great. Much harder to appreciate a car that isn't.

But I've read many a snot nosed, Sport Compact mag readn' JDM worshipping imbiciles who honestly think the NSX is superior to the Z06 in every way. Of course, they don't appericate the NSX for what it is, only how they imagine it.
