    I would go see these guys whenever they came to Chicago. They grooved. They wanted to know if I had any pot at the first Warped tour. ahaha...I didn't.

    Quicksand wasn't emo - but somehow their sound was coveted by the emo bands. They were a non-willing prototype. Just like Faith No More wasn't Nu-Metal...they were just Faith No More. Amazing music nonetheless - people grasp for "the godfathers of..." moniker.
