Ural Factory Motorcycles Discovery Channel

I have an '05 Gear Up, and they now have a disc brake up front, electronic ignition, and an alternator. However, he's right about one thing, it is as tough as a hammer. LOUD VALVES SAVE LIVES!

It may be Some Assembly Required, but I could be wrong, I can't remember where I've heard the narrators voice before.

Hi. Its a totally different experience but not to be worried about. Its not like anything else. The Ural is such a heavy machine as to be a good start for anyone interested in riding an outfit. The chair wheel is very hard to get up in the air. On left hand bends with a UK outfit, you drive round the chair and right handers you throttle off and the chair tries to overtake the bike therefore turning right. In short its a knack and like anything new, you get used to it with having a go.

am thinking of buying a ural outfit but have never riden a bike with a chair , how hard is it to ride compaired to a solo

What an idiot. Used to riding a modern machine from the start. All that throttle action, wind, wind. They steer on the damn thing and weight shifting dependant on the side the chair is on and the corner you are driving into. We have one in the family collection and its brilliant. If it wasn't why would it have such a following. Dont rubbish what you can't ride properly. Humph! Up the Ural.
