There is a lot that i didnt know i guess .Now I understand and its all making sense why Northen Ndebele and Southern Ndebele are so different ..Now it makes perfect sense the Ndebeles of Zimbabwe are really Zulus who changed their name to hide From King Shaka finding them after they defected from him .Never thought I would get a history lesson from YouTube.lol .

Well you may be right maybe I missed that part of the History i read about it so long ago when i was in high school and I might just be mixing things up because it was so long ago but in any event thanks for the enlightenment ..interesting ..I will revisit some of those books ..Thanks Bengtang

The version that i heard is that the Ndebele of Zimbabwe are actually Zulus who broke away from Shaka under Mzilikazi. These Zulus moved into the land of the South African Ndebele, specifically the Manala branch. In order to make it harder for Shaka to find them they adopted the name of the Ndebele. Mzilikazi then had all the Ndebele men killed, and took their women north to set up camp in Zimbabwe.

Actually they are the same tribe but as they moved north running form Shaka they split into groups and as a result some ended up in Zimbabwe due to historical factors such as mingling with other tribes the Ndebeles in Zimbabwe did not manage to keep most of those original traditions due to other tribes influences but they do have the same ancestors
