    i would recommend you use a fedora or ubuntu version, if you want some help with this i could help you... I got exactly the same thing on my fedora 8 distribution, besides i got the newest plugins for compiz-fusion and its better than this ;)....

    I play World of Warcaft on my Ubuntu with Wine...and I have about half the latency I use to have on Windows with the same FPS, believe me or not. Plus, I'm a webdesigner and php developer, I constantly use Apache+MySQL, Gimp, Blender and so on. While I do agree that some Windows apps are somewhat superior or easier to use (namely Photoshop and After Effects) there are linux apps that are simply better, namely code editors and any kind of server service. And it have the very low price of ZERO :)

    That is wrong man...Ubuntu is a great OS. You can do nearly anything on it that you can do on Windows -- Photo Edititing, Word Processing, Running a Web Server, you name it! Ubuntu Rocks! And beryl makes it rock more!!!
