Urging the United States to layoff that great humanitarian Joe Stalin. As far as being FDR's VP his was dumped by FDR for Harry Truman. Well Pete was a member of the communist party for a time. He did campaign for Henry Wallace who was a communist candidate for President. So how am I not understanding communisim or socialism. I like Pete Seeger as a man and a Singer. That does not mean I share his politics though. Now if he has given up some of his old quasi socialism that is a point in his favor.
