I'm ashamed to say "I missed you" in 1994. I just watched "Reality Bites" for the first time. Included was this video. A milestone in the music industry because it was shot for an "unsigned" artist which was unheard of. Anyway, this song hit me right dead center because she knew exactly what to sing about at the time which, apparently, still happens. Men and women, it's the eternal Stay, Go Away, I Missed You complication. Great song Ms. Loeb. It continues to reach the right audience!

I still remember seeing her live in the winter of '95 in Pontiac, Michigan after the release of her first album, and while she was still playing gigs at hole in the wall places. The show was great, and afterwards, her and the band stuck around for drinks and I got to chat her up for a little while. She's a real sweetheart, and absolutely beautiful to boot.
