Oh and also, for when the piece is under, when solving the first layer, I find it works to do first position the piece under the proper place then doing L B D2 B' L'

Not sure if these are practical but they seemingly work for me...are they good, or is there a reason why they're not? Please tell me ^^ I don't know if I should switch ways to move pieces or not.

When the center piece for the first layer cross is in the right spot but oriented incorrectly, I do F U' F; It changes lots of other pieces but personally, I think it works well, if you're only concentrating on the cross at the time anyways.

Yeah, I do say at the end of part 2 that if you like to continue your quest for mastering the cube, check out f2l, oll, pll & that learning them renders this tutorial useless.

i don't understand y all these shortcuts are needed...if u use these ur times will drop from around a minute and a half to about a minute and ten seconds.. compared to the 20 that i average around that isn't really all that much...i reccomend using thrawst's method or moving on to intuitive F2L.. it'll make your time a lot lower...

I recommend you to use Heavy Duty Silicone
better..Petroleum Jelly Will make your cube
fast bad will look damn bad inside after a
few weeks or months.
