For those who dont know, Theo Jansen is a kinetic sculptor who created this mechanism to make living sculptures, his so called "strandbeests"(beach animals). The real ones(not my simulation) are powered by wind only and have a small artificial intelligence that doesnt use eletricity. If ur interested on his work, watch these videos:

    and we're now at 3.5

    Emil probably changed something in the code that affected this scene

    well, i just feel lucky i've recorded this in time ^^

  • Mine didn't ...

    Mine didn't actually work either, it would collapse one of it's left legs and do nothing. I added some very strong springs to keep it from falling at that point, then once it started going, I took the spring away. After that it works fine for me.

    for some reason, my own file doesn't work on my own PC anymore... i think i've changed something i shouldn't
    now i'm glad it just glitches here, i was scared =P

    anyway, the next phun update is coming next friday i guess, so there's no need to fix my Phun, i'll install the new version when it comes out...

    and this file was made before the collision groups update, so now it could be improved a lot if u put one foot in group A and the other one in group B so they won't collide
