What if I am trying to add a new ball of yarn on a circular needle project? Every time I do it it looks awful and noticeable.

yes this worked she was kind enough to send me a msg. she said "loop the 2nd yarn over the needle, bring the first yarn over the needle and knit them at the same time. Do this for 3 stitches, then you can cut off the tail of the first ball."

I am in the same position as you now with my scarf. Did you figure out if this is the way you should add a new ball of yarn? And to i cut it or weave it in. Are there any video's on here showing? My first one too.

so is this how i add a new ball of yarn? i am in the process of making a scarf and ran out of yarn of my first ball.
how do i get rid of the tail of the first ball? do i just cut it or weave it in? or is there something special i need to do?
