a response to those who think the baby should be killed. If you were to see a helpless animal trapped in some way, how would you respond? Would you take a hammer and slam the life out of it, or would you try to help it and let it free? The same applies to this helpless being, a humanbeing , no matter how disfigured it may be. Sometimes we need to look deeper before we speak about what we see on the surface. We are all creatures of God and need to preserve, not destroy!!

but i feel even more sorry for the mother

how does she feel having have to raise a child like that? (not that being a harlequin baby is a bad thing but is probably very hard to handle)
