Danster1982 makes a good point in a well phrased and eloquent manner

I personally do not support the use of steriods- but still respect athletes such as magnus that do. Yes these people have great genetics and have worked incredibley hard to achieve what they have, but that only takes you so far. The fact is that performance enhancing drugs are everywhere in top sport these days.

By electricladyland1234 [Affiliate User] 1206588585 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeits easy to hang on a tree branch with 1 or 2 arms when you weigh 50 kg ;)
compared to their size, sure chimps have good grip strenght. but u cant compared it to the man in this video
anyway VERY stupid discussion im out a here
the 50kg chimp can hang on the tree branch with 1 or 2 arms for as long as we can stand. you think any human has the grip strength to do that? ask some strong dude to go squeeze a chimp hand, see who gets hurt

he's wearing a bandana
i demand a do-over
lol i agree at the end it looked like he was gonna fart so loud and catch it on tape. rofl GG
By tlazol [Affiliate User] 1206479839 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewhats impressive is he only uses 3 fingers to close the #4 gripper!
By desembodic [Affiliate User] 1206474187 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removecoleman legpress 2300 for 8 reps
By bodybuilderOlympia [Affiliate User] 1206448940 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyou do know that a chimpanzee weighes no more than 50kg right? i think are you are mixing up the species
sure a 250kg gorilla is stronger but whats your point? if u see a sprinter running 20miles/hour will you then say 'pff, thats nothing compared to a cheetah'??
lol thought at the end he was trying to squeeze the biggest fart out for his country :)
By steveoaks1000 [Affiliate User] 1206419874 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI watched this video, then looked left on my tv and there was a comment in some movie "only muscles, zero brain"
strange coincidence
It's amazing.
And his not using them stupid weightlifting shirts. Those shirts are so F**king cheat!
Respect!
Magnus' feats of strength are impressive, but are mere child's play to any non-human primate. A female chimpanzee could squeeze that grip with minimal effort-nevermind a big silverback gorilla.
By cspce [Affiliate User] 1206296084 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveA silverback gorilla is ten times stronger than the strongest human, and at an average weight of 400 plus pounds could easily curl that weight like it was nothing. Gorilla's in the wild have been known to break bamboo as thick as four inches with minimal effort. Gorillas, like chimps and orangutans are much stronger than humans and would easily rip magnus' arm off and beat him with it-mind you, magnus is still exceptional for a human being.
By cspce [Affiliate User] 1206295455 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveSo what if Ronnie Coleman can legpress 2300lbs I've seen a men's fitness magazine with Shaq in it and he legpressed 2600lbs...Shaq is a F**king beast.
By TheIronDeath [Affiliate User] 1206277805 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelisten here this is not the only time I knocked out a powerr lifter I round housed a 5'5 250lb powerlifter he had no neck and he was out cold with one kick he was bench pressing 450lbs and was bragging he can lift me with one hand and thats your proof tae kwon do works magnus would probally take a few more kicks because of his size but no doubt tae kwon do will come out on top
By Iferwoman [Affiliate User] 1206269310 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveNo untrained silverback gorilla curls 140kg 1 arm, where do u get that mumbo jumbo from? What's so special with silverback gorilla anyway? A same-sized tiger will tear it apart in the blink of an eye.
It takes 167kg of pressure to close CoC No. 4.
365lb of lateral pressure.
By unauthorizedentry01 [Affiliate User] 1206242143 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveIt does sound a bit ridiculous though. I'm sure a silverback gorilla could curl it with one arm, but a human--well, let's just say it sounds absurd.
By cspce [Affiliate User] 1206237493 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWell as you stated earlier with proper technique the amount of weight decreases-so clearly if he had to put his back against a wall and just rely on his biceps alone there is no way he would be able to curl that weight, and likewise in the bench press, he wouldn't be able to bench 270kg without arching his back. That said, i think we can still assume based on these numbers that he's still exceptionally strong in these particular disciplines.
By cspce [Affiliate User] 1206236456 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThat sounds impressive, but what if magnus closes the distance between you and him and decides to pick you up with one arm and choke you until you pass out?
By cspce [Affiliate User] 1206235339 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveDoes anyone know how much force is required to close the .4 handgrip??
By cspce [Affiliate User] 1206235185 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveNo one is disputing your conditioning, but you can't underestimate magnus' size and power-what he lacks in technique he makes up for in size and strength-which incidently, is a big factor in mma. All the champs are extremely strong and well-conditioned.
