Promo video for Mercedes-Benz's Night Vision system
This copy Lexus infrared night vision introduced in 2003. Cadillac was actually the furst but used thermal imaging so it wasnt that good. Lexus technology is being copied by BMW and Mercedes.

By jayr545 [Affiliate User] 1210933259 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveI have a benz and i would hate to think how much benz would charge to repair that if it went wrong. I have been qouted circa £1200 just to fix a bloody sunroof. Repairing that would bankrupt me. Thanks but no thanks.

god u r thick!
By MeganoOdles [Affiliate User] 1206623631 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHaven´t you listened? The IF Light is famous for not blinding the others! It´s invisible! And a night view system without IR Lights isn´t possible!
By lolle222 [Affiliate User] 1206612123 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveThis is a pretty bad system. A number of other brands are using the thermal imaging from FLIR, much better system as it does not need any illumination (no blinding other drivers using IR). It also doesn't need headlights to be on at all.
By funkymonkey1002 [Affiliate User] 1206404401 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewell, assuming it is legal...
think of what the purpose of the anti-tv laws are... to prevent the driver from keeping his eyes from the road. with this, the driver still has his eyes on the road.
i can see why it would be allowed.
LMAOOOOO
By Gilbats [Affiliate User] 1202182399 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removetv displays are illegal to be viewed by drivers so why is this legal?
By oliax [Affiliate User] 1200933094 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveWhats the point of this, if its for "quick glances" every now and then??? So inefficient.
By kramerican [Affiliate User] 1200882460 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeyeah but it wooos in the idiots with money.
all you have to do is adjust mirrors so that the reflections dont blind you and dim the dashboard lights...your pupils do the rest.
