hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yup, there are places you go and places you cant... like staying in a heavily guarded estate... they'll still rob you, but you should survive if you dont leave, because you'll probably be hi-jacked just outside the estate grounds. doomie, i suspect you are probably from the highest 10% income classes who can afford staying in these estates... i honestly do not know one single person who hasnt been affected DIRECTLY by crime in SA. my advice? STAY AWAY!

As a South African who moved to USA 13 years ago and went back to visit in Feb 2008, I can say that you definitely can not think you are safe in either country (USA or SA). But, the truth is, South Africa is far more dangerous. It's like an African wild animal as deadly as it is beautiful.

That's what I'm thinking, too. Just like the US. It's not like all of NYC is bad. Just some particular neighborhoods are worse than others. But nevertheless, I'm asking South Africans themselves before I buy myself a one way ticket and send my ass for 3 years into Africa lol.I have never been to the southern hemisphere and the only friends I have met from there are 2 Australians, and 4 Brazilians. No one from Africa. I don't know much about the continent. That's why I wanna go there, to learn.

trust me you move to africa you must do some research theres place you go and places you dont just like any other country.. i think the places you should look at are Durban Capetown and Johannesburg..

you guys dont know what ur talking about im 20 and lived in SA for 20years its just like any other country there places you go and places you dont go its that simple

America is founded by WHITES and the largest group in America are whites. 50 years ago Whites was more then 90 percent of the population. The black was imported from Africa by whites and those latin-americans that have immigrated can be deported back to there lands. Whites do not belong in Africa and blacks belong in africa.
