u must be kidding!!!!!!!! how can u even think of comparing jothika with shobhana.....the tamil version was absolutely dumb......shobhana must have cried after seeing the tamil version....

ya she did good, but needed extra sound effects to make it spl! with some graphics too , where she was liftin the bed!!

dude vidya is wayy better..maybe u didnt take the story into point..in this scene her husband is supposed to be shocked over what his wife is actually like. and if shes too calm and not scary enuf like shobana is..its not gonna be that great

no way vidya was better than shobhana. she mite hav been good but nowhere near shobhana's (national award winning) performance

hey mate...its true that bhool bhulaiyaa wont match up to this film but i'm 100% convinced that bhool bhulaiyaa is the best 'remake' of manichitrathazhu than the kannada version and the absolutely 'stupendous' tamil version.

This is some amazing acting here, better than Vidya's for sure. I do not speak the language, but I can feel her anger, it's very human and very genuine. The acting on everyone's part is wonderful. But Shobhana is fantastic! I would take some acting classes from her if I could lol:) Art..exquisite!

But vidya balan acting like she is having fist..un necessarily using back musles etc makes it complete no no.moreover priyan used camara trick to show the heavy coat lifting(that's impossible by a human being) scene.moreover shobhana shows so much emotional deapth in the scene without overacting.

dude..you are a crazy vidya fan..that's why you failed to analyze both the performance properly..first of all shobhana's character is a mental patient..she is no ghost..she is not supposed to scare anyone..shobhana just transformed into nagavally slowly and convincingly..she shows only anger and agony of the dancer.

i dont knw which mood u were in while watchin the movie..but the movie is doin really well and Vidya balan did act quite well..its soo thrilling when she immediately changed her mood to show anger to her husband.. and i found her better than shobana..shobana has put on a good act but vidya is more scary.. shobana was the 1st one to do it, so ppl tend to give her full marks,, which she may be deserving but vidya has acted brilliantly. she is going to get a filmfare for sure.
