There was a wee surprise this morning at the BMW stand at the 2008 Paris Auto Show. Inside Line has been told by BMW Germany and North America personnel that the X1 SAV, being shown here as a concept, will be coming to North America in September 2009. That's right on schedule with the European launch, so there was apparently never any doubt.

    omg, that is TINY! wtf is the point of getting this garbage? I think that the idea of compact SUVs is really stupid. If you want a compact SUV, get a hatchback or wagon. If you want an SUV, get a normal SUV! This just looks so tiny. I would rather buy a 3 or a 1.
