TD Jakes and Joel Osteen Enrich Themselves in Jesus' Name

The irony here, as I read these comments, is how many people claim that they know the 'Truth' about God, and that they are the ones who are really in touch with Jesus' message. Have any of you fools ever noticed how much time christians spend arguing over who is right? How much time their preachers, especially the ones on television, spend time denouncing rival preachers as liars and cheats? Ever notice how similar they sound to politicians?

dude, thats where you are so wrong. The spirit of the Devil cant never lead people to GOD. If Osteen and Jakes portray themselves above God, i will agree that they are false prophets. The Devil always lies, he wants people to live their meaningless lives and welcome them to hell. As i heard, the sunday sermon is for seekers and the small groups are for people who wants to know more about christ. If anyone works towards the expansion of the kingdom of God, i am all for it unlike u traditionalists

But according to Jesus, these false teacher's wonderful works WON'T fool the elect of God, for Jesus said that IF it were possible, they could fool the elect. But Jesus' sheep know his voice, and will not follow strangers. Jakes and Osteen have a monumental following of people who don't know the Lord, but are following a false christ, lead by these false prophets. All we, who are wise to these hustlers can do is pray that God will release the thousands of people who are caught in their clutches

False teachers are very hard to detect. They have to have a semblance of good works, of piety, of helping people, otherwise Jesus wouldn't have to warn us to be wary of them. We would know better than to follow someone who's NOT helping people, or who DOESN'T appear to be changing lives for the better. Jakes and Osteen are just two such false prophets, with the uncanny ability to fool people just like "dannyistheone."

The secular media even sees that false Christians are making merchandise of the people. Yeah, Joel, it says we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Oh UGH those people are NOT hearing Gods word, the are hearing Joel Osteen. God won't be mocked Joel. Remember that.

I believe that MSNBC is the devil itself. Look at the cloud of suspicion its putting on jakes and osteen. I believe that if these preachers can make a change a person's life for his/her good and bringing them near God, they are truly right in the eyes of the lord. You Unbelievers, laced in tradition are the reasons why christianity is facing a mass erosion. People like TD and JO should be encouraged as they preach the GOOD NEWS and not the BAD NEWS. The sunday worship is mostly for seekers.
