Most gracious Father, please add my thoughts and prayers for SCC and his precious family to the others before your throne during this time of deep sorrow. Encourage them through your Word and the words that you inspired SCC to write in his beautiful music. Wrap your "Daddy arms" around them and give them peace and mercy in this imperfect world. Please keep the truth utmost before them; Maria is now safe with you. Amen

Heavenly Father, we praise You for your unfathomable love and mercy and grace. Lord Jesus, as You have used Steven's music and ministry to console and comfort the hearts of thousands of hurting people, so now we pray that You would multiply that grace many times over and pour it out upon him and his family in this tragic time. Fill their hearts with Your love, peace, hope, strength ... may they be still and know more deeply than ever that You are GOD. In Jesus' name. Amen.
