  • Not that I think ...

Not that I think Paradise is a quality film, its junk but I've watched it quite a bit. BL, ah, I think once was enough, although it was better photographed. But Paradise had a camel and monkeys, hee hee. I think everyone here is ignorant of the film's nationality. I have never read anything on Canuck cinema, that mentioned Paradise, even among our "shameful" products. Well now I have another gem of Canuxplotation to add the list. Thanks.

  • Amazing how a bit ...

Amazing how a bit of nudity changes the flavour. Bit like adding chilli.
I thought this was American too but all sources reveal it to be Canuck - not even a co-production! Like many people don't believe that Wide Sargasso Sea is an Aussie film. Too 'exotic' perhaps.
Being a cranky old purist, I also found this much better than Blue Lagoon :)

  • Phoebe Cates film ...

Phoebe Cates film debut, her acting is poor but her awesome nude scenes sure help, hee hee. Easily her best, ah, showcase. Amusing to see Willie Aames here now, since he became a born again Christian and stars on that kids video series as, I don't know, Billy Bible. Or whatever. Life is strange. Thanks for posting!

  • I thought your info ...

I thought your info box was wrong, but IMDB confirms this was a Canadian film. Wow! Leonard Maltin's film guide stated this was American and I took it at its word. No wonder Citytv has been showing this for roughly 20 years! They must have spent a lot of tax shetler dollars to film in on location in Isreal. Neat trailer, chessy voiceover. I actually prefer this to the film it ripoffs, Blue Lagoon. No tease here, just blatant full frontal nudity and softcore sex. And its got action!
