How to Create a Successful E-Commerce Web Site

Hard to get a straight answer from anyone. But I want to set up a web site and be able to take credit card orders etc. What should I buy to do this or what is the easiest way of doing this ? With little money and not wasting my time and money ??? Anyone ?

Wow, this is totally unrealistic. Running a website is very hard work. I if you spend 30k just to get your site on-line, you got ripped of big time. I own and run a website, so I know. and for gagandah90 I dont know what your talking about because you cant just turn off a website. Thats insane, if you did that google, yahoo, msn and any other note worthy search engine would ever index your site.

Definitely easier than working as an RN, at least I get to have fun doing other hobbies.

I'll be touring Philippines and South Africa for 2 months, and the good thing about E-commerce is that I can just disable my stores and get back to it after.

My day is usually 12 hrs. I get bored most of the time and get side-tracked. But it is always surprising when you make lots of sales while doing other stuff. I don't get to do that with my previous profession.

I have to constantly update prices and availability, answer emails, pack packages and on phone with customers and post-office for pick ups...

Great video and good tips. It's so true- you have to be online a lot, but it usually pays off. I own three e-commerce websites; drop-shipping on one,couture accessories,and blog with merchandise. My net profit is at least $5-8K a month on three combined. I only ships within the USA,though. I could probably tripled my profits if I sell worldwide. But right now, it's risky due to charge backs...

With just an internet-site it's just like the best way to sell your business products through the website's company. The more you anounce your website the more people get in, the more people, more money.
