    actually the sun is about 4 and half billion years old, and is halfway through its life. The Milky way will collide with the andromeda in about 3 bill years, so if humanity survives that long, we will have a great show for a very long time.

    Wow, COOOL! I wonder if our world's gonna get so poluted that the world dies by itself by then anyway, though? Ha ha. :P And that's cool about the rocks/stars not colliding, PivotBowserfan. But I'm sure there's at least SOME chance of a star from one galaxy hitting one in another! Stars seem pretty "bunched up" in the center of galaxies. :P
