  • the adversary`s ...

the adversary`s advantage if he has a contact weapon. On the other hand in some instances I like to be close, because breaking contact and gaining distances might be too hard (I stumble backwards as he runs forward) or I have no room for lateral movement.
Dealing with blades I see a huge advantage of staying in a blade-like usage of the gun over just shooting, due to his reaction on being shot in close distances.

Sometimes it is just pure aggression to just run him over/shoot to the ground.

Thanks for watching and your view on it.
I am not sure how to understand your first comment. If you like to, please explain. I am always interested in learning.

Thank you for the kind words.
You are right it is training and it is for showing some stuff.
Those concepts are for being close and you have no chance to gain distance.
To be honest in some scenes I got closer just to stay in the picture frame :-)
If you can, distance is always good if you have a projectile weapon because it negates

you have lots of talent, but it would be safer for you to not ever get as close as you do before you shoot them. gives them a better chance at you. but I understand its training

Well,it is as good and bad as lots of others. And it is only my interpretation of Systems that are already there. I am not that good to invent a whole system. :-)
As Greece is not so far away, there might be something possible if you are interested. Drop me an email if you like.

    Thank you again

  • Well thank you so ...

Well thank you so much. I really appreciate getting input from those who protect us and putting their lives on the line.
Of course this is more of a show than really a video to learn something. If you get one or two ideas out of it then it is great. Keep on training and stay safe!

  • Thank you for ...

Thank you for watching. I take this as a compliment, even if it is not true. FCS is doing a great job in applying FMA principels to modern weapons. What I am doing is heavily influenced by Bram Frank (who has some common roots with Guro Dionaldo) but also draws from concepts of some real deal guys which I respect very much for what they teach like Mike Janich, Gabe Suarez, Craig Douglas et all. The point is whether the underlying principles are applied/ understood. It is not a matter of style.
