He shows half guard ...
He shows half guard and side control counters. These are very effective. I'm sure these counters would work in guard as well.

I'd like to see him show a kimura counter from front control or side mount. Those would be a little more difficult to defend.

just put your opponet in the lock down when you apply the kimura it will be much harder for him to escape or counter you.
