The entertainment continues as Ms. Bynum profits from what should be a tragedy in any family -- divorce. Since when does going through a divorce become a springboard for "success?" This is so sad. I wonder if Paula and Randy are going to ask for cameos now?

Is it appropriate to provide advice to a troubled couple when you are one half of a troubled couple yourself? This is simply too irresponsible.

  • My answer plainly, ...

My answer plainly, I would do what was written in the Bible. I grew up where my folks beat each other black and blue but at the time, neither of them knew Christ.
From that experience and knowing my temprement, I have decided not to marry. If it is God's will for me to marry, I will pray and use my own common sense and judgement to ensure I do not wind up with an abusive man. If God forbid, this should occur, we would nip it in the bud on the first hit.

  • I was taught ...

I was taught tolerance and love for ALL people, yet I see "whore of Babylon" and "she's getting what she deserves" by so-called Christians.

This is a woman talking about her experience as a battered wife. I know nothing else about besides what you all say about her here.

Why are we so arrogant to automatically doubt someone who claims to be a messenger.

Like I said, I know nothing about it. I just find these hateful comments astonishing and disheartening - especially coming from Christians.

  • I wasn't asking ...

I wasn't asking about what is written in the bible, I was asking what would YOU do.

Could you justify staying in an abusive marriage with a passage from the bible? Do you think that while Jesus taught unconditional love he told women to "tough it out" if they were getting their butts kicked by their husbands?

Would god himself reward you after you're dead for being pious and hanging in there?

I'd say he'd be disappointed that you had lived a life wasted - life being a gift he gave us.

What if he had killed her? What if you were married to a man that beat you every night? Would you follow the bible and stay in the marriage?

    Amen and Amen!!

No mention of sin, or...hell! May we continue to pray for God to open our eyes to the many false prophets rearing their heads and manipulating the naive - and stealing their money!!

  • Is this for real??? ...

    Is this for real???
A "prophetess" on divorce court?? What a mockery!
The Bible CLEARLY states that only divorce on the grounds of sexual immorality - ie "cheating" a Christian is not permitted to divorce.
The saddest thing is that this woman has an army of head-nodding followers who yelp "amen" to everything she says.

You're going down, whore of Babylon. You can't exploit people and the name of God and think you can walk away unharmed.

    Nel:

It is quite sad. We must have compassion on the lost, and give them the truth of God's word. All are not too far gone. Some the Lord wants to draw out and save. Those are the ones who have ears to hear what the Spirit says through His true messengers.

  • Nelsonb7: Your ...

    Nelsonb7:

Your insight is right on point! I thank God everyday for those whose eyes are open, and can clearly see how satan has masqueraded as a "minister or prophet" through those only seeking filthy lucre. I appreciated each comment you made, and I trust you continue to speak out for righteousness and truth. Blessings.

  • Rather than saying ...

Rather than saying "I love him, but I love me more," why not say, I love him, but my body is the temple of God, and I must respect it, and take care of it so that I may be used by God for His pleasure and His purpose.

  • If she gives too ...

If she gives too much, she never would have had a million-dollar home. Also, she preaches like the other Faith teachers: if you give $1,000 you get $10,000 back. So, if she's been given too much, why isn't she receiving TOO MUCH??? How sad. And people actually believe her response. There are a lot of people who are being fooled.
