on 3:14 you said to mix casting powder or hurculite and mix it to make a posotive sculpture of your teeth,what do you mix the casting powder with

my moms a dentist and she says for this halloween she will basicly do what you did but sort of easyer and faster

hi. Do some research on google if you are unsure about the toxicity levels in the acryllic compounds. What I researched told me they are safe once the acryllic has completely cured (3 days), but it is still advisable to wash them off before first putting them in your mouth.

Acrylic powder with monomer costs about £13GBP. sculpy or Fimo clay costs about £1.30 per block. Casting powder costs about £5 per 2.5KG bag and dental alginate costs about £3 for a small bag. all are available on eBay.

But, Are this fangs safe? Im just wondering, because in the DIY video many people commented that nail acrylic is toxic.

Hi, Yes, I experimented by adding a tiny bit of coffee and yellow food colouring to the mix. Mix the coffee and colouring in a bit of water, then add a few drops of the water to the dry powder and mix it up until you have the desired dry powder colour - then add the monomer and make as normal.
Alternatively, you can buy some dental acrylic powder (quite hard to get hold of in the UK) which is already tooth coloured.
