Republican Senator John McCain has a plan that will cause 20 million people to lose their insurance at work, leaving them on their own to fend for themselves. McCain wants you to fight the insurance companies when you're sick - he's clearly not on your side.

So basically the Health insurance companies fully support deregulation. Now THIS is scary! Even scarier is they might get their way. So now, I got a pre existing condion or I am too old, I can now be easily denied coverage, a major medical problems arises and I go into debt and file bankruptcy, Oh wait, they changed those darn bankruptcy laws too, lest we forget, and now I have to pay forever, but wait, then economy took my job to Dubai, Gee, did't they just set up the system for themselves.

Guess which campaign is backed by the health insurance companies. I will tell you it is not Barack.

He would also strip away the ability of states to provide some of the regulations on insurance companies to make sure you're not excluded for pre-existing conditions or your mammograms are covered or your maternity is covered. And that is fundamentally the wrong way to go.

He says that he's going to give you a $5,000 tax credit. What he doesn't tell you is that he is going to tax your employer-based health care benefits for the first time ever.

As Americans we should be ashamed to be the only industrialized country in the world that has no national health plan for its citizens.
Elizabeth Edwards pointed out that she and McCain wouldn't be able to get insurance under his plan.

He doesn't have much to go on.
This is why my family and I are all voting for Obama. Plus being 23 and in school, I like Obama's plan about reinvesting in our country for alternative source of energy, which will help curb our dependency on oil and help whatever way we can with the environment.
Oh and my family, all white and Christian. Not that skin should matter.
John McCain has had government health care from the time he was born. As the dependent of a Naval Officer, he had it as a kid until he went to the Naval Academy it was provided by the Navy. Since then it has been provided by the government with his political jobs. And yes I know he spent 5 years as a POW. Still, he does not know how to relate with normal people who work for a wage and have no health benefits.
