Actually, they add throttle restrictors to the butterflies when they burnout so they can floor the gas, but keep it at a certain RPM for a more consistent throttle application during a burnout.

Forgot to mention that they "barely" press on gas pedal to make such a burnout because in fact they could easily burnout the entire quarter mile and more...

That was with a hydrogen peroxide powered rocket dragster. The machines on this film are V-8 engines with a max of 5000cc. You can't compare them to a rocket.

Road and track does a few joke articles, last year they tested a train, and the delivery trucks.

Top fuel cars don't spin the tires, at least not during the actual pass. Road and track admitted in print that they did the test as a joke. Google road and track mark 5 test and see.

no u see how much time is wasted in the beginning with tire spin the mach 5 has special tire tht give grip on the molecular level so there's no wheel spin so there's an INSANE 1/4 mile time and if u put those tires on a dragster maybe it will do it under 2 sec

You really need to research it again. Just for laughs, how can a 1700hp piece of movie lead, beat a 8000hp 2000lb internal combustion missile?
Just do the math. For a wheeled vehicle to travel 1/4 of a mile in 2.6 sec. the terminal velocity would have to be 579 mph.
