Just like you said 200 years ago. Isn't that enough time to get your S**t together? Germany was in economic and physical ruin after WWI(1920) annd WW2(1940) and they have one of leading economies and stand of living in the world.

You can't just leave a bunch of free slaves who were uneducated on a island such as haiti and take most the resources out of it (gold) sell it back for 3x the worth. People still owe the haitian government money from 200 years ago.
