Goddamn that match brings me back to 13 when my friend Ken and I were watching that in my living room.

Given Vince's overall disrespect of real woman pro wrestlers from ALL countries, his not knowing the names of the Jumping Bomb Angels is almost to be expected.

Many of Vince's in-ring announcers were just as bad, or WORSE, at remembeing the names of the women's pro wrestling talent.

This was the first Royal Rumble, so I guess they wanted to run it on cable first to see if it would succeed. Once it did, they ran it on PPV.

PINK: Noriyoi Tateno- Vince says "Norino"
RED: Itsuki Yamazaki- Vince says "Satsuke"

Interesting that the first Royal Rumble was on Cable and not PPV.

It's hard to beleive Vince McMahon owned the WWE even back then and was an announcer.

At a minimum, BOTH The Jumping Bomb Angels and The Glamour Girls should have a Hall Of Fame rematch so all 4 women can give these divas that lesson.
