it's called modernisation, they did all that to make it modern and S**t plus I find it more creepy to have an evil police car :)

S**t movie no doubt, but still has potential to be entertaining i guess... wait 4 DVD on this one.

the annoying thing about this line up is that barricade and brawl were both autobots originally and have never been used as decepticons, barricade has always been a police cruiser yes but brawl was a standard army jeep (i still have the models in original packaging)and ratchet as a hummer, he was an ambulance

worst line in the movie: "bring it!"

Megatron - Cybertonian Jet (Supposedly acquires an Earth-based mode at some point in the movie)
Starscream - F-22 Raptor
Bonecrusher - Buffalo H Anti-Mine vehicle (google it)
Blackout - MH-53 Helicoptor
Barricade - Ford Mustang police cruiser
Scorponok - Scorpion (Closest thing to Beast Wars in this movie.)
Frenzy - CD Player Stereo
Brawl - modified M1 Abrams Tank

Just wanted to post the list of all the Transformers that will be in this movie. Just so there is no confusion....

(And don't worry, these are not spoilers.)

There will be 5 Autobots:

Optimus Prime - Peterbilt Tractor Trailer
Ironhide - GMC Topkick Truck
Bumblebee - 1974/2008 Chevy Camaro (He will acquire the new 2008 design at some point in the movie)
Jazz - Pontiac Solstice
Ratchet - Hummer H2 modified with a search and rescue utility body

the car that he gets in is Bumblebee, that's why there is an Autobot logo on the steering wheel. watch the other trailers and you'll see it. Barricade is most definitely a Decepticon even though he is a police car. In a few of the other trailers, they show a clip of him "attacking" the kid. Also, in this movie, Blackout will be a Decepticon too.
