yea well you guys have it bang on , many important lessons to be learned here especially at this point in time . when the dollar collapses , oil prices go through the roof etc people are gonna realise along the way we lost our way . amazing stuff all the best .

this is my dream. I started my first garden using self watering containers and I believe with all the new technology in gardening we could feed ourselves.

Very smart, very smart...

I've turned my back yard into an organic garden, but not yet on the same scale as this family, but I'd love that. It IS empowering. It is amazing to eat fresh, living, raw foods. There's a spiritual connection also. "Eating is an act of holy communion with the earth". There's a book called "food not lawns" with many ideas. It would be great to be able to connect with others in my neighborhood doing this.

Many people don't realize that the greatest revolution is standing on one's own two feet in all aspects. Plant an organic garden, get fresh water/filtration, exercise every day. Take back your life and be free.

How many hours are spent getting a 6000 lb harvest each year?

If we could estimate the market value and dollars per hour, could a purely economic argument be made for doing this - one that would warm the heart of even the greediest?

You know - 6000 lbs of produce, @ $1 per lb, divided by 300 hours would mean $20, tax-free, per hour.

Add to that time and money saved not maintaining a stupid lawn, and any intangible satisfactions gained from annoying the white-bread neighborhood.

Don't worry about the control tactics around you. Don't waste your time and energy with stress and worry, just start planting. Get your hands dirty. Go out into your yard or balcony or whatever you have and get quiet, feel the sun on your face. Be at peace. This is the best way to fight what is going on.
Stress breaks down the imune system, it kills. Go out today and get some seeds. God Bless

Subiesisters, that's exactly what we do.
We converted part of our yard into a garden.
We have tomatoes, Cattots, Spinach, Corn, Peas and Brussel Sprouts.
I also deliver John Deere parts to farmers in western Indiana to keep them going for them to grow crops.

Son.........think about it. Anyone who still owns a house, they have a YARD. What a campaign!!! Turn your yard into a garden. I love it! Instead of the government raiding the FDLS or Ruby Ridge, they would have a heck of a time raiding EVERY HOUSE IN AMERICA. Such a simple idea yet only these people did it!!! I love this video. Susie
