ya it can hold a lot of weapons but it is not aerodynamic for one. And is the size of a house on radar. And a cheap ground to air missile can take it out. An A-10 is missing the F in its name for a reason since it has a 2% chance of eliminating an air target. But an amazing 95% chance of eliminating a ground target.

Vulnerable?!? It's designed so that it can fly missing half of each wing, an engine and half of the tail.! The pilot sits inside an armoured titanium pod, referred to as the `bathtub'. three fully redundant hydraulic systems with a fully mechanical fail over if all of the hydraulics fail. These aircraft have taken hits for 30mm rounds and continued their mission without any loss of combat capability.

Not like it would need it! xD The A-10 has more weapons than 2 F-22s in their little weapons bays. Or, if it runs out and the missiles are duds, the Gatling Gun is just as handy for killing aircraft!
