From director Roland Emmerich comes a sweeping odyssey into a mythical age of prophesies and gods, when spirits rule the land and mighty mammoths shake the earth. In a remote mountain tribe, the young hunter, D'Leh (Steven Strait), has found his heart's passion -- the beautiful Evolet (Camilla Belle). When a band of mysterious warlords raid his village and kidnap Evolet, D'Leh is forced to lead a small group of hunters to pursue the warlords to the end of the world to save her. Driven by destiny, the unlikely band of warriors must battle saber-tooth tigers and prehistoric predators and, at their heroic journey's end, they uncover a Lost Civilization. Their ultimate fate lies in an empire beyond imagination, where great pyramids reach into the skies. Here they will take their stand against a powerful god who has brutally enslaved their people.

    easily one of the worst films ever come on it was crap acting was terrible plot don't even go there, and when where cavemen shaving and trimming there beards and all have the exact same haircut, it was so laughable worst movie ever, am glad I downloaded it and didnt pay money to see it

    Actually there's proof they hunted mammoths, they made small huts out of their bones and tusks, then covered it with the fur to keep it warm, made tools from the bones and tusks, used the fur for warmth as clothes and blankets and also painted art of them along with other game on their caves.

    this movie actually sucked. it was totally inacurate.

    1) Humans didn't kill mamoths, they respected them and never hunted them. Only neangrathals did.

    2) Their were no pyramids back then! Like seriously wtf!

    3) The big bird thingies taller than man came THOUSANDS of yaer before the first primative human.

    4) Uhm, they didn't speak english!

    5) They didn't build giant masses like they did in the movie... they barely built anything at all except small things for living in.
